  • clip I used is Wellgo WPD-823 [1] (was WPD-981-GBS, but that's discontinued

I have had this in my rowing shell since at least 2017 and it works well

  • cut ends of pedal arms and TIG weld them onto an assembly that fits the foot stretcher
  • use standard SPD pedals
