We have access to a Sand blaster as part of our membership at North Forge Fabrication Lab. The tool runs abrasives like crushed glass or walnut shells against a workpiece. It can be used to etch glass or expose wood grain, for example in Masked Sandblasting.

-I have some crushed glass at AW which works for etching glass, granite and wood. Also for cleaning metal.
