This page explains how the extra buttons in the edit bar above (e.g. the collapsable button) are added and how we would go about adding more. See Custom system messages for info on modifying other user interface components.
Steps
- make up an icon you want to use; this should be a png of XXX x XXX pixels size.
- upload the icon to this wiki.
- The next steps need to be done by a wiki interface administrator. (if you want to become one, talk to Tina Tenbergen)
- edit MediaWiki:Common.js
- copy and paste one of the other button generators and update it with the new button and what you want it to do
