| shortDescription | Wikitext string | A mobile cabinet to store and transport my woodworking hand planes. |
| longDescription | Wikitext | I like to use hand planes for Woodworking. I have a few of them. They rust fairly easily, so they can't live in my garage. I also damaged some of them when they have dropped off my bench during a project because they didn't really have proper place. So, wanted a rack that I can easily move in and out of the house, hang on a French cleat while it's inside, and stand up on the floor or the bench when I am using it. I built this out of reclaimed wood from an old bed frame and some scraps of hardwood I had around for the brackets that hold in the planes. The frame uses dovetail joints. The finish is boiled linseed oil. |
